Teaching Assistant
West Monkton CofE Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership Trust is seeking to appoint a flexible and adaptable Teaching Assistant to meet the needs of the school.
The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children in small groups, occasionally in larger groups, and on a 1:1 basis, depending on the needs of the school. We are looking for an individual who has patience, is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and pupils

Key responsibilities include:
1. Working in small groups and 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND and SEMH need, as required.
2. Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teacher and SENDCo.
3. Working closely with the class teacher, Pastoral Assistant and other Teaching Assistants supporting pupils

Experience Desirable:
4. Experience working in education
5. Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs
6. Knowledge of Speech and Language support
7. ASD Trained
8. Understanding of ADHD
Hours of work: Full time. Term time only (38 weeks).
30.42 hours per week. 8:45am - 3:20pm
Actual Salary: £17,009
Position: Permanent
