What you’ll do
* Assist with file and document management, including opening, maintaining, and closing matters.
* Coordinate diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements for fee earners.
* Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence to a high professional standard.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements, including risk management procedures.
* Handle incoming communications and liaise professionally with clients and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records and support the team with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
* Contribute to business development activities, including client research and event coordination, where needed.
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
* A collaborative mindset and a willingness to support others and grow within the role.
* Ideally, you’ll be based within commuting distance of Exeter and comfortable with regular office attendance.
