Role: Production Planner (Print)
Location: Edenbridge
Salary: to £35, per annum + annual profit bonus and excellent benefits including 24 days holiday + BH, Xmas Close, Private Medical, Parking +++
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm. Office Based Monday - Friday. PLUS 1 day hybrid working option following probation.

Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing and production industry, is seeking a Production Planner to join their dynamic team in Edenbridge due to growth. This is an exciting chance to make a significant impact on the timely and cost-effective manufacturing of printed packaging and be an integral part of the business to ensure efficiency!
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling & Planning
1. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, stock levels, and machine capacity.
2. Ensure production deadlines are met while optimising machine efficiency and minimising downtime.
3. Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands.
Coordination & Communication
4. Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to align scheduling with raw material availability and customer requirements.
5. Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding production status and potential delays.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
6. Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste.
What We're Looking For:
7. Experience: 4+ years in production planning based role (skills in the print/packaging industry are preferred not essential)
8. Skills: Strong understanding of production scheduling software ie. ERP/MRP systems. (Training provided)
9. Problem Solving: Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.
10. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
11. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
12. Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
