Commercial Manager

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to take the lead on all commercial activity for a large, complex site. If you thrive in complex environments, excel at cost control, and know how to drive commercial performance, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
* Owning all commercial matters
* Ensuring alignment with commercial principles and contract obligations
* Identifying gaps in commercial understanding across FM teams
* Managing suppliers in line with the MSA
* Validating additional works, claims, CCNs, and semi-comp costs
* Leading the Change Control process where commercial impacts occur
* Overseeing budgets outside the fixed-price model
* Reviewing and approving invoices as part of the Managing Agent role
* Acting as the commercial escalation point to senior leadership
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience managing commercial elements of large-scale FM contracts (~£30m)
* Strong commercial acumen and deep contract management expertise
* 5+ years’ experience across core FM services in complex or high-risk environments
* Background in financial services FM is a plus
* Strong understanding of pricing structures, gearing ratios, benchmarking, and FM cost drivers
