Introduction
Ready to take your engineering career up a gear?
We're partnering with a leading company in advanced, tailor-made Flow Control & Separation solutions designed for industries where performance is everything. Backed by innovative technical leadership, quality is at the heart of everything they do.
In this role, you'll help shape modern manufacturing engineering practices within a fully integrated environment, working on cutting-edge solutions for some of the world's toughest sectors.
Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be ITAR compliant and able to obtain BPSS clearance (or higher).
What will I be doing?
1. Shape Smarter Manufacturing Systems
You'll be planning and rolling out safe, efficient, and reliable production processes helping bring smart manufacturing to life. Whether it's fine-tuning existing setups or introducing new tech, you'll be right at the heart of it.
2. Be a Key Player in Product Launches
From early-stage prototypes to full-scale production, you'll make sure new products are built to be made. Expect to get stuck into routings, BOMs, and cost estimates that make everything run smoothly.
3. Get Creative with Tools and Tech
Using 3D design software, you'll help create everything from clever assembly aids to precision tooling-whether it's machined, or 3D printed. You'll also play a big part in keeping manufacturing specs sharp and up to date.
4. Solve Problems, Wherever They Happen
Working with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, you'll help crack technical challenges as they come up. Sometimes that might mean heading out to a site but always with support behind you.
5. Champion Quality and Continuous Improvement
You'll support quality processes like FMEA and control plans, and work alongside production teams to keep things running smoothly, especially when changes are in play.
What do I need to succeed?
6. You've got a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering-or something similar that shows you know your stuff.
7. You've spent time in high-performance or precision engineering environments, so tight tolerances and top-quality standards are nothing new to you.
8. You're confident with technical designs and drawings, and you've got a solid grip on mechanical design principles.
9. Welding's in your wheelhouse-whether it's fusion, resistance, or laser, you know your way around the techniques.
10. You're comfortable using MRP systems and pulling together clear, detailed technical documentation to keep production running smoothly.
