What you’ll be doing
1. Implement successful CRO experiments from Adobe Target into the BT Business Broadband production codebase.
2. Collaborate with CRO specialists to understand winning tests, DOM manipulations, and associated markup/components.
3. Deliver features in our established frontend technology stack (React 18+, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit).
4. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following agreed standards and patterns.
5. Work with designers, analysts, and other engineers to ensure new features meet accessibility, performance, and brand guidelines.
6. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and agile ceremonies.
7. Gain exposure to AEM Headless CMS as part of delivering BAU features alongside CRO work.
8. Collaborate with backend developers and other teams to integrate frontend changes with existing APIs and services.
Experience you'll have
9. Strong knowledge of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
10. Experience working in an agile software development team.
11. Experience with CSS and the DOM.
12. Understanding of state management patterns (e.g., Redux)
13. Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines.
14. Experience writing unit/integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
15. Experience with Git-based workflows and modern build tools.
Desirable skills:
16. Exposure to multiple programming languages or paradigms over your career, showing adaptability and willingness to learn.
17. Experience building and maintaining component-based UIs using a design system.
18. Experience translating experimental CRO changes into production-ready features.
19. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
20. Awareness of CRO experimentation tools, such as Adobe Target.
21. Understanding of web performance considerations and responsive design principles.
22. Understanding of AEM Headless or similar CMS systems.
