We are seeking for an experienced Release Manager with strong Salesforce expertise to manage end-to-end release delivery within a complex environment. Manchester (hybrid) and Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
* Own the full release lifecycle across Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations)
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across multiple teams
* Ensure delivery aligns with timelines, scope, and quality standards
* Manage dependencies, risks, and conflicts across releases
Process & Governance
* Define and improve release processes, standards, and controls
* Ensure compliance with change management and governance frameworks
* Lead release forums (e.g. CAB) and maintain documentation/reporting
Best Practice & Continuous Improvement
* Drive DevOps and CI/CD best practices
* Improve release efficiency, automation, and quality
* Support tools such as Copado, Gearset or similar
Stakeholder & Quality Management
* Act as the key link between engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams
* Communicate release status, risks, and issues clearly
* Ensure testing, validation, and rollback plans are in place
Key Skills
* Proven Release Manager experience in Salesforce environments
* Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and delivery lifecycle
* Experience with release governance, DevOps, and CI/CD
* Knowledge of ITIL / change management principles
* Strong stakeholder management skills
