We’re looking for a commercially focused Customer Success Manager to join our Retention team. You’ll manage a blended portfolio of enterprise customers - owning some relationships independently and collaborating with an Account Director on others - with full accountability for driving retention, platform adoption, and customer growth.

You’ll lead strategic conversations, own the renewal processes across your book of business, and deliver the insights and activities that help our customers succeed. From data reviews and success planning to product enablement and business cases, you’ll act as the strategic partner helping our customers realise long-term value from hackajob.

We believe Customer Success is a commercial function. It’s about helping customers achieve their goals and ensuring hackajob sees long-term revenue growth and retention in return. We focus on delivering a high-quality experience across onboarding, adoption, success planning, and strategic engagement - all underpinned by strong data, process, and commercial ownership.

Our customers range from fast-scaling scaleups to some of the UK’s largest employers. The successful candidate will need to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, from day-to-day users such as recruiters and hiring managers, to Heads of Talent and senior decision-makers responsible for long-term strategy and budget.

Our CSMs are proactive, outcome-oriented, and customer-obsessed. This is not a reactive support function - you’ll be expected to lead from the front.

* Owning renewals across your portfolio, from early strategy through to contract signature -working to forecast, protect, and grow revenue.
* Leading strategic customer conversations, including QBRs and regular health reviews, to reinforce value and build stakeholder alignment.
* Using customer data to tell compelling stories, combining product usage, outcomes, and engagement trends to identify risk and surface opportunities.
* Driving adoption and engagement, delivering onboarding, user training, and best practice campaigns that embed hackajob into customer workflows.
* Managing a blend of mid-market and enterprise accounts, working independently on some and in partnership with an Account Director on others.
* Creating and tracking Success Plans, linking platform features to commercial goals and building a clear narrative around progress and ROI.
* Acting as the voice of the user, sharing insights back to product and engineering teams and helping customers get the most from every feature release.
* Supporting scalable success, promoting use of self-serve resources and contributing to internal playbooks, enablement content, and process improvements.

Apply if you:

* Have experience in a customer-facing, commercially accountable role - ideally in Customer Success, Account Management, or Agency Recruitment.
* Know how to manage a book of business with autonomy and urgency, balancing delivery with strategic thinking.
* Understand how to use product data to drive decisions, surface risk, and make a compelling case for continued investment.
* Build great relationships across different personas — from power users to senior decision-makers.
* Communicate clearly and confidently - in person, on calls, and in writing.
* Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where change is the default.
* Take real ownership of your work, your accounts, and your impact.

We’d especially love to hear from you if you:

* Bring knowledge of recruitment workflows or hiring processes, particularly in technical talent acquisition.
* Have managed both strategic partnerships and mid-size customers, and enjoy switching between the two.
* If you are a former recruiter looking to step into a Customer Success role, especially if you’ve had exposure to account management or customer-facing delivery.
