Here at The Whisky Shop, thanks to continued growth - the team is growing! Were on the look out for a commercially minded Email Marketing Manager, who will own the end-to-end process of delivering beautiful, relevant fresh comms to one of the largest spirit databases in the UK.
You’ll help deliver targeted, data-led campaigns that drive engagement, repeat purchases, and loyalty across a passionate and knowledgeable customer base; whilst ensuring all communications comply with UK alcohol marketing regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute CRM campaigns aligned to the whisky retail trading calendar, including launches, limited editions, gifting periods, and seasonal moments (e.g. Christmas, Father’s Day)
* Build and manage customer segmentation based on purchase history, preferences, spend, and collector behaviour
* Support automated journeys such as welcome, post-purchase and loyalty sign up.
* Deliver campaigns across email, SMS (and hopefully soon, push!)
* Coordinate campaign setup, review, and deployment, ensuring accuracy of product, pricing, and compliance messaging.
* Monitor and report on performance including revenue, conversion, engagement, and customer lifetime value.
* Support A/B testing of subject lines, content, offers, and send times.
* Work closely with e-commerce, loyalty, retail, brands, and data teams.
* Maintain high standards of CRM data hygiene and GDPR compliance.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years Experience in a CRM or email marketing role, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or premium/luxury brands.
* Hands-on experience with CRM/ESP platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, CampaignMonitor, Emarsys)
* Strong design skills - youll be able to both write and build emails, plugging in rich assets built in the likes of Canva or Adobe.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer behaviour.
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly around product information and pricing.
* Confident using data and reporting to inform decisions.
* Strong written communication skills with the ability to balance brand tone and compliance.
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
