An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established automotive manufacturing company based in Pudsey. The business is continuing to grow and invest heavily into the site and is looking for a strong Maintenance Engineer to support production and engineering operations on a permanent nights shift.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of packaging and production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the site.
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable nights-based role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
* Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding experience
* Ability to work permanent nights
* Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Strong understanding of production machinery and manufacturing environments
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Carrying out PPMs and breakdown repairs
* Fault finding on production and packaging machinery
* Supporting continuous improvement activities
* Maintaining accurate engineering records
* Working effectively as part of the engineering team
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Packaging industry experience
* Engineering qualifications
* Multi-skilled engineering background
* Conveyor or automated machinery experience
* CNC Machinery experience
