Role Description This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to own and grow the DACH market within an ambitious and fast-growing company. HBI’s market-leading event focuses on investment and digital transformation across Hospitals, Elderly Care, Diagnostics, Pharmacies, Digital Health, Healthcare IT, and outpatient services such as Dental, Ophthalmology, Aesthetics, Fertility, and Mental Health. In 2026, the event will also expand to include MedTech, BioTech, and PharmaServices, targeting 40% growth. We seek an energetic, German-speaking B2B sales professional to renew, grow, and build a client portfolio in the DACH region, primarily in Germany, with expansion into Switzerland and Austria. The role involves selling meeting rooms, delegate tickets, and entry-level sponsorships using a space-first approach. This position reports to the Event Director and can be based in our London or Paris office. The successful candidate will join a team of four and be responsible for developing a significant client base. HBI offers a hybrid working policy, with in-office days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at our Finsbury Park office, along with benefits like Vitality Health Insurance. Core responsibilities and qualifications: Renew and grow event revenues from existing healthcare investors, advisors, suppliers, and providers, meeting or exceeding targets. Develop new business pipelines, including MedTech and PharmaServices sectors, against or above targets. Manage and forecast pipelines effectively using Salesforce CRM. Provide feedback, share new ideas, and identify potential contacts internally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with a telephone-first approach. Strong networking skills to map organizations and leverage connections for meetings and conversations. Interest and understanding of investing, finance, and healthcare sectors. Proactive, self-motivated, and growth-oriented mindset.
