Sales Representative Location: Dumbarton Reports to: Commercial Manager We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team in Dumbarton. In this office-based role, you will support the Commercial Manager and play a key part in delivering outstanding service to our customers—handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth order process from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Commercial Manager across all aspects of the sales cycle, including preparing quotations, chasing tenders, negotiating sales, handling invoice queries, and managing customer complaints. Serve as the main point of contact for customers, fostering strong and professional relationships through clear, friendly, and effective communication. Respond to incoming enquiries via phone, email, and other channels with a professional and helpful approach. Prepare accurate quotations aligned with our sales strategy, generate leads, and convert them into orders to help meet ambitious sales targets. Work closely with internal teams—including operations, logistics, and technical departments—to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Skills and Experience Previous experience in a sales and/or customer service role is essential. A background in construction is desirable, but not required. Strong multitasking abilities with excellent organisational and time-management skills. Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner and the ability to build strong customer relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with learning new IT systems. Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and grow within the business. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. A full clean driving licence is required.
