I have a fascinating opportunity for someone keen to take a prominent role in an agency that genuinely does things a little differently.
My client is a boutique comms consultancy for the world’s most transformative brands and trailblazing founders. It is looking for someone at either Senior Account Director or Associate Director level, who can ideally bring a blend of corporate and consumer experience.
This role is available on either a permanent or 12-month FTC basis. The need has come from a maternity leave cover, but due to new client wins the team is open to all candidates.
I believe this is one of those roles which will be as much about the person as it will your experience. It will suit someone fearless and ambitious, who loves to work with clients inhabiting a ‘high achiever’ ecosystem. Someone who is excited by, and understands what it means to be, working directly with founders, entrepreneurs and CEOs, who pursue bold, unconventional ideas that are catalysts for change. The style of work is direct, rapid turnaround, and often needs a ‘respond in the moment’ type person, rather than someone who is more comfortable working to a formula.
The account portfolio sits across a range of clients who match that definition, as well as a significant new business win in the media creator space. With this in mind, a genuine interest in, or understanding of, the creator economy is important. As in experience in consumer tech, health/wellness, or adjacent spaces where the pace is high and the relationships are close is ideal. Additionally any experience with Indian, or Indian diaspora, culture would be a bonus.
The agency's founder is extremely well networked and there is no shortage of new business coming through the door. It means the agency can keep a deliberately low profile, focusing instead on letting the clients be the heroes. It's also a well structured agency that is growing rapidly, with a clear vision of where it’s heading, and what it needs to achieve that.
The office is based in central London, and the team works 3 days in, 2 days out. Working practices are flexible - the focus is simply on results.
