Some travel to France on an ad-hoc basis Outside IR35 The Change Partners are seeking an experienced Test Lead/Manager to join our team on an exciting project with an iconic travel brand. The role involves developing a new reservation system for a leading client in the channel crossing industry. Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning: Define testing strategies and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, and establish test KPIs and dashboards. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of testers while coordinating the efforts of remote international teams. Execution & Reporting: Oversee the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT), and provide regular progress updates to project leadership on issues, risks, and overall testing health. Non-Functional Testing: Define and execute non-functional testing to verify system performance, scalability, and security standards. Automation: Develop and oversee an automation strategy for regression testing. Essential Skills: Proven experience in UAT and SIT testing phases. Demonstrated expertise in managing data migration and revenue management systems. Strong background in writing test cases and use cases, and performing analysis and design activities to ISTQB standards. Experience in implementing non-functional test strategies to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Experience in managing automation strategies for regression testing. Ability to work with and manage remote-based testing teams and international suppliers. ISTQB Foundation Certification is required. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with end-to-end testing processes in reservation systems is preferred. Experience working within the transportation sector (rail, air, or ferry industries) is highly desirable.
