An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position working 39 hours a week. As well as lifting inspection work there is a range of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.
Responsibilities
* Lifting Inspection work and related tasks as part of a team across the UK.
* Load testing and pull testing; occasional destructive testing.
* Manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.
* Support the delivery of the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver as part of the business unit/team.
* Full training will be provided; prior experience in an engineering environment is desirable.
Qualifications
* LEEA certification
* Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
* Experience working in a testing environment
* Eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach
* Good communication skills; ability to analyse and impart knowledge
* Full UK drivers licence
