Job Description
* Deliver strategic financial insight, challenge and guidance to directorate leaders as a trusted advisor.* Embed robust planning, forecasting, and financial risk management into operational and strategic decisions.* Lead on complex business cases, budget setting, and the financial impact of policy or legislative change.* Translate data into meaningful analysis that drives performance, value for money, and service improvement.* Represent finance at senior forums and external stakeholder meetings, influencing beyond the organisation.* Coach and develop teams, promoting business partnering excellence and stakeholder focus.
The Successful Applicant
* A fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by extensive and relevant experience.* Proven experience working as a Finance Business Partner in a large, complex, or regulated organisation.* Strong strategic and technical finance skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and navigate political environments.* Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.
