Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Driver Wanted - Barnsley
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (LGV C+E) Tramping Driver based in Barnsley.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out full pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure tyres, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in safe working order.
* Follow all delivery schedules and job instructions accurately.
* Communicate with dispatchers and colleagues daily to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.
* Maintain productivity standards to ensure customers receive timely service.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
✔ Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
✔ Previous Class 1 driving experience
✔ Clean licence with no more than 6 points (no major endorsements)
✔ Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
✔ Verifiable references
✔ Willing to do early starts and 4-5 nights out per week
