Location & Hours
Location: Southampton - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 hours per week - We offer some flexibility on hours, just let us know what works for you!

Your Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will be a vital part of our Construction team, playing a key role in planning and delivering structural work across various contracts. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team in a dynamic environment, tackling a variety of projects from inspection programming to coordinating maintenance delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day activities will include:
* Planning works and inspections in collaboration with the Contracts Manager and Programme Manager, ensuring timely delivery while meeting contract requirements and KPIs.
* Attending internal and external meetings to provide programme updates and work closely with inspectors and engineers to keep project schedules on track.
* Monitoring programmes daily, capturing essential notifications, identifying critical activities for successful delivery, and maintaining up-to-date scheme registers.
* Tracking key performance indicators, managing task requests from clients, and developing design and build delivery programmes for client approval.
* Reviewing health and safety documentation, ensuring subcontractor risk assessments meet standards, and overseeing the completion of safety files and certificates.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold an HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering and possess an SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
* You have experience in traffic management, highways environments, rail, or London Underground projects.
* You’re comfortable managing multiple schemes and projects simultaneously.
* You hold a full driving licence to visit depots and sites as required.
