Connect Appointments is recruiting a Bakery Retail Assistant to join a busy bakery in Airdrie. Temporary position moving to permanent after 12 weeks 32.5 hours per week on a rota basis, between Monday to Saturday Shift start times of 7:30/8am, and finishing at 4pm A weekend off every three weeks on a rotational basis Paid at £12.75 per hour As a Bakery Retail Assistant, your duties will include: Welcoming customers warmly and assisting with enquiries and product recommendations Serving customers and processing transactions accurately using the till system Restocking shelves and fridges and maintaining attractive, well-presented displays Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the day Supporting stock management and organising stockroom areas To be considered as a Bakery Retail Assistant, you will need: A genuine warmth with customers and a natural ability to make people feel at ease Previous experience in a customer-facing, retail or hospitality environment is advantageous A reliable, punctual approach to work The ability to work well as part of a small, close-knit team Interested in this Bakery Retail Assistant role?
