Purpose and Scope of the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking an Administration & Compliance Coordinator to support Asset Survey and Inspection from our Irlam office. This role provides essential coordination across health, safety, quality and compliance activity, helping to maintain IMS standards for office and site-based teams. You will manage incident reporting, audit support, training compliance, documentation control and weekly performance reporting, while working closely with project and operational leads. The role supports delivery across regulated utility and water distribution work, with a strong focus on accurate data, timely action and continuous improvement.


Your Impact in this Position

In the short term, you will strengthen compliance control, improve reporting consistency and help ensure training, ID and equipment records remain up to date. Over the medium term, you will play a key part in improving behavioural safety, supporting operational efficiency and reducing non-conformance. Longer term, this role offers development within a technical and compliance-led environment, with exposure to significant projects, client reporting and wider business processes.

Health, Safety and Compliance Focus

* Strong commitment to H&S, IMS compliance and safe working practices across office and field teams.

Technical Coordination and Reporting

* Confident in managing incident data, audits, toolbox talks, safety alerts and weekly compliance reports with accuracy and pace.

Stakeholder Communication

* Able to challenge non-conformance professionally, communicate clearly and build trusted working relationships across all levels.

Organisation and Ownership

* Highly organised, able to manage deadlines, track training and maintain control of multiple priorities without loss of detail.

Digital and Systems Competence

* Skilled in Microsoft 365 and work management systems, with strong administrative capability and a practical, solutions-focused approach.


Qualifications and Training

Essential: demonstrable experience in a similar compliance, H&S or coordination role; strong IT literacy; full UK driving licence.

Desirable: experience within utilities, water distribution or a regulated operational environment; relevant H&S or compliance training.


Work Pattern and Location

This is a 40-hour per week, office-based role in Irlam. Some flexibility may be considered in line with business needs, but the role is primarily site and office focused.
