Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Assistant will include, but may not be limited to;
3. Supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.
4. Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
5. Processing invoices and expense claims in a timely manner.
6. Performing bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.
7. Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
8. Ensuring financial transactions are correctly recorded in the accounting system.
9. Helping with financial audits and providing required information.
10. Carrying out any other finance-related tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. Not for Profit and Charities sector desirable.
12. Ability to commute to Manchester.
13. A strong finance related background.
14. A solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
15. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
16. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
17. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
18. Strong organisational and time management skills.
19. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
