Role: Production Operative Rotating Shifts Location: Dudley Hourly Rate: £12.21ph (increasing to £13.75ph after 12 full weeks work) Hours of Work: Mornings- Monday to Thursday: 5.40am to 1.50pm, Friday: 5.40am to 11.30am/ Afternoons- Monday to Thursday: 1.40pm to 9.50pm, Friday: 11.20am to 5.10pm Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Production Operatives to join our client based in (Dudley). You will be working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, helping to manufacture high-quality automotive components. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking company within the plastics and automotive industry Key Responsibilities: Trimming excess material from moulded components on a conveyor line. Assembling small plastic parts, basic upholstery, layering leather over plastic parts. Work in a fast-paced environment ensuring production deadlines and targets are met to keep up with customer demand. Ensuring a continuous flow of products move throughout the production line. Placing mould onto a fixture and use bushing press to insert metal fixings. Operating injection mould machine - learning basic controls. Inspecting parts delivered onto site, ensuring they meet requirements as shown on written documentation. Highlighting and identifying faults to members of staff. Visually inspecting products to ensure high-quality standards. Picking and packing products as per customer requirements. Successful Candidates will have: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Ability to work on your feet and keep up with production pace. Reliable, hardworking, and punctual. A team player with a positive, can-do attitude. What's in it for you?
