Your goal will be to provide a warm welcome to all our restaurant visitors and do everything you can to make their trip a memorable one. You will be responsible for ensuring customers are served quickly and accurately, operating the tills, ensuring the restaurant area is impeccably clean and supporting the team with whatever is needed to help create a great working environment. You will also help keep the kitchen environment clean and safe by supporting with various duties such as mopping, washing up, cleaning surfaces and kitchen equipment.
This is a very demanding role so you must be comfortable working fast and being on your feet a lot of the time.
We currently have two vacant positions:
Position 1:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Sunday (4 hours per shift) = 12 total hours
Week 2: Monday (4 hours shift) = 4 total hours
Average weekly hours = 8
Position 2:
Week 1: Monday (4 hours), Tuesday (6 hours), Saturday (4 hours) = 14 total hours
Week 2: Wednesday (4 hours), Thursday (6 hours), Friday (4 hours) = 14 total hours

Key Responsibilities:
As a FOH Assistant your role includes but is not limited to these duties:
•Welcoming and seating customers
•Taking customer orders
•Assist with menu and beverage recommendations
•Preparing and serving beverage and food orders
•Setting tables
•Cash handling
•Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
•Cleaning tables and removing used cutlery
•Communicating effectively with the kitchen and staff members
•To assist the kitchen staff with various duties
•Reporting to shifts on time in impeccable uniform
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
Ideally, we are looking for someone who:
•Has previous experience working in a catering environment – (preferable but not mandatory).
•Friendly and sociable.
•Good attention to detail
•Willingness to learn new skills
•Is flexible to work additional shifts and weekends if required
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Knowledge of restaurant procedures
