The Role
• Support students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH) across KS3–KS4
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement support plans
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a calm, inclusive learning environment
• Provide 1:1 or small group support, adapting your approach to individual needs
• Assist with learning, emotional regulation, communication, and personal development
About You
• Empathetic, patient, and calm under pressure
• Previous experience with SEN or working with young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, care, etc.) preferred
• A degree in psychology or education is desirable but not essential
• Confident communicator who builds rapport quickly
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Willing to complete full safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS
