Job Description
Gravitiq is a private equity-backed consumer brand group building and scaling health and beauty brands into omnichannel category leaders.
Our portfolio spans cosmetics, supplements, medical devices and wellness products across Amazon, retail and DTC globally.
We are now entering the next phase of growth, focused on building the operational infrastructure required to scale with greater predictability, control and resilience. This role is central to that transition.
The Operations Director will lead and strengthen the operational engine of the business, ensuring we can scale with greater discipline, predictability and control.
This role owns the core operational functions - Supply Chain, Product Development & Regulatory, and Customer Support - bringing them together into a more coordinated, high-performing system.
Reporting to the founders, you will translate growth ambition into operational reality: building the structure, processes and capabilities needed to support a multi-channel, international business. You will work closely with Commercial, Brand and Finance to ensure plans are realistic, aligned and deliverable - improving how the business forecasts, prioritises and executes.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be expected to set direction while staying close to the detail, identifying issues early, challenging assumptions and ensuring consistent delivery.
We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and has experience building operational foundations during scale — not just managing established systems.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy, Process and Execution:
* Build scalable processes: Introduce practical planning frameworks, execution rhythms, and performance tracking that allow operational functions to deliver predictably and reduce firefighting
* Build stronger cross-functional alignment between Commercial, Brand and Operations (in partnership with Chief of Staff) to ensure plans are realistic, aligned and deliverable and targets are consistently met
* Partner with Tech and Transformation to drive AI and automation adoption in the operational functions
Supply Chain & Operations:
* Own the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, manufacturing, planning, logistics and inventory performance
* Establish robust demand and supply planning frameworks, improving forecast accuracy and product availability
* Drive inventory, working capital and service level performance, balancing availability with margin discipline
* Lead supplier strategy and performance, strengthening reliability and cost efficiency
* Build resilience through risk management and contingency planning
* Ensure operational readiness for US retail and international expansion
Product Development & Regulatory:
* Oversee end-to-end product development and packaging delivery
* Improve predictability, timelines and delivery discipline across NPD and packaging
* Embed margin awareness and cost discipline into development decisions
* Drive alignment across Brand, Commercial, Creative and Supply Chain to ensure effective delivery
* Build scalable regulatory and compliance frameworks across categories and markets
Customer Support & Service:
* Lead omnichannel customer support, ensuring strict SLAs and rapid resolution across all platforms (Amazon, DTC, TikTok Shop, Retail).
* Champion the 'voice of the customer', leveraging feedback and trends to drive continuous cross-functional improvements across Brand, Product, and Supply Chain.
Technology & AI:
* Strong tech and AI-forward mindset – partner with our technology and AI teams to improve systems, data, automation and efficiency in operational functions (eg forecasting, customer
support)
Requirements:
* Significant senior operational leadership experience within a high-growth consumer goods business
* Experience owning multiple operational functions (eg. supply chain, product, operations, customer service)
* Track record of building operational foundations during scale (not just managing steady-state)
* Strong financial understanding, including margin, COGs and working capital management
* Experience working with retail environments, particularly in the US
* Comfortable working in a founder-led, fast-moving environment
* Willing to be hands-on when required, without losing strategic perspective
