We are looking for a Senior Greenkeeper at Dundonald Links Resort in Gailes, Scotland. Competitive salary of £31,000 per annum!
This is a permanent position to work full hours. This will be 40 hours across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role
Main responsibilities:
This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional experience for visitors and professional golfers by maintaining healthy turf, well-prepared playing surfaces and a safe, authentic Links environment.
Your tasks will include the following:
· Carry out effective turf maintenance by following established schedules and maintenance programmes.
· Upholding all Health & Safety procedures, ensure a safe working environment.
· Support irrigation management to ensure optimal water usage and turf condition.
· Lead projects.
· Collect and interpret data.
· Monitor turf health, identifying and addressing issues.
· Calibrate, apply and record fertiliser, herbicides, pesticide, other plant protection products and seed applications safely.
· Operate a range of turf care machinery and equipment.
· Tournament golf preparation.
Requirements:
The Senior Greenkeeper will be passionate about championship golf course maintenance with a keen eye for detail to ensure the golf course is presented to the highest standards of playability and aesthetics.
To be eligible, you will need:
· PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates are essential.
· Knowledge of integrated pest management approach and machinery operation.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work in a championship setting.
· Ability to work as part of a team and work independently.
· Demonstrate leadership qualities.
· Flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends as required by the role.
· Current UK driving licence.
· Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
· Chainsaw & Felling licence desirable, but not essential.

* A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use the site buggies / vehicles.
