What You Will Do: Develop and deliver captivating and informative ICT lessons aligned with the national curriculum across Key Stage 3 and potentially GCSE. Ignite a love of learning for Information and Communication Technologies, fostering critical thinking and digital literacy in students. Design and implement innovative lesson plans that utilize engaging teaching methods and integrate with current curriculum objectives. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes responsible and ethical technology use. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Design and Technology department to ensure a cohesive learning experience. (Desirable) Play a role in mentoring and supporting the professional development of fellow educators in ICT. We Seek a Candidate With: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant subject area, with a strong focus on ICT. A minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience, ideally within a secondary school setting. A comprehensive understanding of the current ICT curriculum, assessment practices, and emerging technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. A creative and engaging teaching style that fosters student curiosity and exploration in the digital world. The ability to thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
