Job Title: Lead Planning, Monitoring and Control Professional

Salary: Circa £48,000 depending on skills and experiences
What you’ll be doing:
* Maintain cost account systems, procedures, processes and practices to track OpEx costs and ensure compliance with those internal procedures
* Monitor and analyse variances between monthly, quarterly and annual and forecasted budgeted expenses with internal and external teams
* Identify and support the implementation of cost savings and efficiencies within the budget
* Provide financial guidance and support to sub-cost account teams that make up the overall Product Group budget
* Progress risk and opportunity identification, assessment, cost and risk mitigation plans for services outside of the formal budget
* Prepare and articulate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management
Your skills and experiences:
* You will need to have proven experience within Cost Account Management
* Be proficient in financial management software (ideally SAP and Microsoft Excel)
* Have gained a good understanding of the ITIL4 frameworks and practices
* Hold good experience of working within an IT Function and hold a relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. HNC / Prince 2 Foundations / Computer Science Degree)
* Demonstrable experience in Risk Management

You will be joining us in the IM&T Function within BAE Systems Submarines and your role will play critical part of a new 'Intelligent Customer' Team that will lead the IT relationship lead into the wider BAE Systems group and Submarine business unit.
