What you’ll be doing
as Treasury Analyst
1. Responsible for completing daily cash management activities, including money market funds, deposit transactions and facility drawdowns for the Group.
2. Preparation of weekly, three months rolling cash forecast and support production of longer term forecast.
3. Counterparty exposure and risk analysis.
4. Create deals on the Treasury Management System.
5. Prepare periodic covenant compliance certificates.
6. Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation using the treasury management system including transaction inputting, reporting and market data uploads.
7. Liaising with Treasury colleagues to ensure transactions are recorded and accounted for properly.
8. Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with treasury policy and procedures.
9. Develop new procedures and documentation where required.
10. Support on projects/delivery of information e.g. to auditors and other stakeholders on the debt/derivatives portfolio.
11. Support Assistant Treasurer with any other tasks/ad hoc activities or analysis.
What you should bring to the role
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need is:
12. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
13. An understanding of debt and derivatives transactions, including index-linked instruments.
14. An interest, knowledge or experience within Treasury.
15. Ability to build relationships, a team-player and effective communicator.
16. Excellent MS Excel skills, familiar with Treasury Management Systems.
17. Part or full Accounting/Finance professional qualification
Base Location: Clearwater Court, Reading – Hybrid working
Working hours: 36 hours, Monday to Friday Full-Time
