Scope

1. The successful candidate will operate at CXO level within our customers, providing thought leadership on business strategy and transformation; leveraging your experience and knowledge of the industry. Your gravitas, acumen and communication skills, will present you as an authoritative expert, representing Blue Yonder capabilities in a business context.
2. Working with the global Industry strategy peers and the senior cross-functional team, you will support the GTM approach according to TAM analysis and industry trends.
3. Support the GTM approach: co-defining the sales plays, industry packaging and messaging, thought leadership content and Partner strategy.

What you’ll do

As a general guide, the role will be divided into the following activities:

Support the Annual Go To Market Business Plan for Hardlines and Softlines– 50%

4. GTM approach and Budget Interlock plan
5. Performance Analysis and Insights
6. Sales Plays & Sales Play Content Creation
7. Industry packaging, differentiation & industry messaging
8. Thought Leadership Content

2. Execution of Sales/Events – 40%

9. Sales support at CXO level
10. Participation in Industry events
11. Advisory boards
12. Building strong customer references

3. Contributing to Corporate Strategy – 10%

13. Industry trends - develop market growth and development plans for expanding industries
14. Support TAM analysis and opportunities
15. Business Cases
16. Investment input (roadmap, acquisitions, etc.)
17. Ecosystem Partnerships
18. Business models

What we are looking for

19. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Specialty Retail (Hardlines and Softlines), with a focus on industry-specific strategies
20. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand complex industry trends and drivers
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence key industry stakeholders
22. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
23. Experience in a team-based selling environment.
24. Exceptional presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills.
