Hours: 1.0WTE (36hrs)
An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team based in Glenrothes Community Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Assess and treat adults, mainly older people, in community settings (home, homely setting or outpatient).
* Provide community rehabilitation to prevent unnecessary admission, support early discharge and enable patients to remain independent in their homes.
* Work independently within the team focus, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.
Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Evidence of continuous professional development appropriate for Band 6.
* Evidence of involvement in audit and service development.
* Experience supervising junior staff.
* Strong NHS experience working with adults, mainly older people, and assessment and treatment knowledge for this patient group.
