Planner (Planning &Control) – Compression Systems
Full‑time position available in Derby or Washington. The role supports production planning, inventory control and operational performance across a network of manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Work directly with the Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) Head of Planning.
* Ensure accurate reporting of MBU inventory and compliance with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) measures.
* Monitor adherence to financial inventory control processes and ERP compliance guidelines.
* Aggregate and analyse production and supply plans across 13 manufacturing facilities.
* Serve as point of contact for excess inventory applications across the MBU, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
* Provide planning support for ad‑hoc scenarios linked to demand changes.
* Liaise with planning and control teams across all 13 manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications
* Strong IT skills – primarily Excel and SAP.
* Experience working in an operational manufacturing environment.
* Understanding of load and capacity planning.
* Experience with production scheduling, work‑in‑progress (WIP) management and inventory control.
* Knowledge of product introduction processes and their interaction with manufacturing.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
