Role Overview
* Welcome children and parents to the nursery.
* Handle enquiries professionally, from initial booking to paperwork and welcoming new families.
* Manage staff holiday requests and prepare staff rota.
* Maintain up-to-date staff records, DBS checks, First Aid certifications, etc.
* Implement and monitor stock levels, ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure the nursery building is well-maintained, arranging repairs and bookings as necessary.
* Communicate with parents via email and text messaging systems.
* Be flexible and adaptable to the nursery’s needs.
Details
* Salary: Up to £12.00 per hour (aligned with National Minimum Wage Bands)
* Location: Otley, Leeds
* Hours: 23–28 hours per week, between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday (exact hours to be discussed)
* Flexibility is desirable, including covering holidays for colleagues.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative role is required.
* Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Customer-focused with good written and verbal communication skills.
* Organized with good knowledge of administrative systems.
