DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

It's more than a job

With us, you will get to know the diverse world of logistics. Whether it's delivering equipment for our favorite sport or transporting sensitive components for the smartphones we use every day – you make an important contribution to life's small and big moments. Your work at Kuehne+Nagel has more impact than you can imagine.

‎

Build your career and help shape the future of Logistics!

We’re looking for curious, ambitious graduates who want to learn, grow and make a real impact. If you’re proactive, motivated and ready to start building your career, this Graduate opportunity offers hands‑on experience in a global logistics business. As part of Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll work with experienced professionals, gain exposure to real business challenges, and build the skills that will set you up for a successful and sustainable career.

Our Graduate Programme is a structured 2-year development programme, designed to give you:
• A professionally recognised qualification relevant to your business area
• A dedicated mentor and buddy to support you throughout your programme
• Access to engaging development workshops that build core skills for your future career at Kuehne+Nagel

How you create impact

At Kuehne+Nagel UK, project support is more than keeping plans on track, it’s about building the foundations for a successful career in project management within a global logistics business.

As a Project Support Graduate within the UK National Management Team, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to national, business‑critical initiatives, working closely with senior leaders and experienced project professionals and developing practical, transferable skills.

From day one, you’ll be a valued member of the team, supporting projects that shape how our business operates while developing practical experience in:
• Project coordination and delivery
• Stakeholder engagement
• Planning, reporting, and governance

This role is designed to accelerate your development and provide a strong platform for a future career in project or programme management.

What we would like you to bring

Stakeholder Connection & Collaboration – Building strong working relationships will be a core part of your role. You’ll work closely with the National Management Team, project leads, and colleagues across operations and support functions to understand priorities and support delivery of key initiatives. This will give you:
• Early exposure to senior leaders
• Confidence in professional communication
• A clear understanding of how distinct parts of the logistics operation work together to achieve shared goals

Project Management – You’ll gain first-hand experience supporting national projects from concept through to delivery. Working alongside experienced project managers, you’ll support:
• Planning and scheduling
• Tracking milestones and actions
• Risk and issue management
• Preparing updates and reports for stakeholders

You’ll develop a solid foundation in project management principles, governance, and ways of working, while seeing how projects are delivered in a complex, fast‑moving environment.

Data, Excel & Analysis Skills – You’ll build on your existing Excel and data analysis skills by working with genuine business data to support projects and decision making. This may include creating reports and dashboards, tracking performance metrics, maintaining project data, and supporting insight generation for senior stakeholders.

Throughout the programme, you’ll continue to develop your confidence in using data and digital tools to communicate progress, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
We will engage with you during your programme to discuss the different routes available to you at the end of the programme. We’ll work with you to explore future career opportunities based on your strengths, interests and business needs.

Your progression is shaped by business demand, your chosen specialism and the skills and competencies you have developed. Career paths are flexible and individual, shaped by your interests, strengths, and long-term goals.

What's in it for you

Logistics is a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment, so this role suits people who:
• Enjoy problem‑solving
• Are organised and detail‑focused
• Can work well with others and communicate confidently

We’re looking for potential rather than prior experience. You don’t need a background in logistics, but we want to see:
• A genuine interest in the industry
• Motivation to learn and develop
• A strong work ethic and customer‑focused mindset

You’ll also need:
• Good planning and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence to take ownership and work proactively

Essential criteria:
• A 2:2 degree qualification (achieved or expected)
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grades A–C / 9–4, including Maths and English
• A full UK driving licence (or due to be obtained by the start date) and access to transport due to the nature of the role

Please note: this role does not meet the minimum requirements for skilled worker visa sponsorship.

This role requires enhanced security clearance checks. By applying, you agree to take part in the employment screening process, which includes criminal record and identity checks. Any offer of employment will be strictly conditional upon satisfactory results.

This is an entry‑level graduate role designed for individuals at the start of their careers. If you have substantial prior experience in this area, we encourage you to explore our other opportunities at:

Key Information:
• Graduate Contract: 7th September 2026- 8th September 2028
• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:30pm
• Location: Heathrow (HSCC)
• Hybrid Working: Full‑time onsite during initial training and performance ramp‑up. Once approved, the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week is available.

Recruitment Process:
1. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a telephone screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the business and for us to understand why you are interested in the programme and what you feel you can bring to the business.
3. A final shortlist of candidates will be invited to an assessment centre onsite where you’ll meet several members of the hiring team.
4. All candidates will receive telephone feedback after the assessment centre. Successful candidates will be invited back for a site tour and to provide right to work documentation.
