Roaming Staff Nurse / Paramedic (Band 5) - Working in the Hospice and within patients' homes within the community.
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £24,218.40 - £29,480.80 Per Annum, dependent on experience and qualifications (£30,273 - £36,851 Full-Time Equivalent)
We are recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse / Paramedic to join our new roaming role across both our Inpatient Unit and Community End‑of‑Life Urgent Care Service. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across two specialist areas while delivering high‑quality, compassionate palliative and end‑of‑life care.
About the role
* Provide holistic, evidence‑based nursing care for patients with complex palliative and end‑of‑life needs in both hospice and community settings.
* Support clinical decision‑making, symptom management and rapid response to deteriorating patients to help maintain preferred place of care.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless, person‑centred care for patients and families in a blended role across the two settings.
What we’re looking for
* Registered Nurse (Level 1) with NMC registration or Paramedic.
* Strong communication skills and a compassionate, person‑centred approach.
* Ability to work flexibly across inpatient and community environments.
* Willingness to develop specialist palliative care skills; experience desirable but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence for community visits.
