Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that follow the KS1 National Curriculum.

Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment that encourages independent learning.

Use a variety of assessment strategies to track student progress and inform future planning.

Lead and manage classroom support staff to ensure all children receive targeted assistance.
*
Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers to support childrens development at home.

Participate in school meetings, training, and extra:curricular activities as part of the wider school team.
Essential Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*
Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
*
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, including Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle).
*
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
*
A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching.
