Policy Officer – Start January 2025 – 5-month contract, 4 days a week (28 hours). Full-time salary £30,000–£33,000 (£18–£20 per hour).
Near Tower Hill; hybrid location – 2 days in office, 2 days from home.
Our client is an established non-profit membership healthcare organisation.
Responsibilities
* Comprehensive preparation for the College President’s meetings, presentations and events, including liaising with departments, faculties, committees, leads, divisions, devolved nations, members and stakeholders to gather accurate and up-to-date information, drafting briefings, speeches, slides and other materials.
* Undertake policy research and analysis directed by the Head of Policy and Campaigns to deliver projects and support the College’s influencing work, including day‑to‑day oversight of progress against agreed objectives.
* Attend and represent the College at relevant external meetings and events, as agreed with the Head of Policy and Campaigns.
About You
* Proven ability to absorb, analyse and collate complex information, and communicate it clearly and concisely in different formats.
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to gather views and opinions.
* Knowledge of mental health and mental health policy, quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills.
