Role description
Control and monitor Hot End production, to achieve maximum efficiency and quality standards, via effective use of labour and equipment
Responsibilities:

Comply with Company Health and Safety Procedures in order to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and those around you

Monitor quality checks carried out by the machine operators, on the bottles to ensure they meet specification

Establish an effective communication flow between shop floor and senior management in order to maintain a well:informed team; Resolve any personnel issues if possible, or inform management required.

Assist in job changes in order to establish and maintain efficient operations during and after a job change
:
Observe the performance of the Independent Section machines directly and via APS, responding to any changes in order to maintain efficient operations
:
Respond to any machine operator queries in order to resolve problems and minimise downtime
:
Monitor the forehearth and feeder area responding to any changes or alarms to maintain effective operations
:
Identify and repair occurring mechanical malfunctions or container defects in order to maintain efficiency
:
As a supervisor you will be responsible for your own personal safety and that of all personnel under your authority. This will also include any contractors you engage to work on site.

:Ability to identify container defects, Mechanical malfunctions

:Salary based on Grade 8 of the harmonised pay scales. Salary min GBP 44,000 : GBP 49,370 max.
