ASSET MANAGER
WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID)
You will manage the recovery and disposal of recovered assets, assist with setting Residual Values, and provide in-life asset valuations across the business, both at loan inception and in default scenarios.
This is a newly created role, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business by achieving above trade valuations on asset sales and minimizing losses.
Working hours and location
Standard hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The Collections and Recoveries team is based at our Wellingborough head office, with onsite work typically three days per week. Travel to client sites for asset inspections will be discussed based on your home location.

What you will do
* Own the Asset Recovery and Sale Process to maximize returns through cost-effective remarketing channels.
* Support end-of-term residual value assets to ensure immediate payment and loan completion; initiate asset recovery when necessary.
* Provide asset valuations to Credit, Risk, and Collections/Recoveries teams.
* Oversee asset management to support credit decisions.
* Conduct client visits and asset inspections to verify condition, maintenance, and safekeeping.
* Maintain and grow relationships with Recovery Agents to facilitate timely asset recovery.
* Develop a network of approved Remarketing Agents to support industry-leading remarketing functions.
* Produce accurate Management Information to showcase strategic approaches, achievements, and challenges.
What you will bring
* At least five years’ experience as an Asset Manager across various asset classes.
* If less than five years’ experience, possession of DIPAF or MICM certification is required.
* Experience in both regulated and non-regulated loan environments.
Preferred qualifications
* Background in mechanics, engineering, or related fields is advantageous.
