Legal Business Support Officer
Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Legal Business Support Officer to provide administrative and case support to both the Children’s and Adults Legal Teams. The role involves assisting with Family Court and Court of Protection matters, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of legal documentation and court bundles.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, format, and maintain court bundles (including e-bundles) for Family Court and Court of Protection cases
* Collate and organise legal documents, reports, and evidence from multiple sources
* Ensure bundles are correctly paginated, indexed, and compliant with court requirements
* Support legal teams with general case administration and document management
* Assist with tracking deadlines and ensuring timely submission of court materials
* Liaise with internal teams and external professionals such as social workers and solicitors
* Maintain accurate records and case files in line with confidentiality requirements
About You
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment
* Strong administrative and IT skills
* Previous experience in a legal support, court, or local authority setting is desirable
* Understanding of Family Court or Court of Protection processes is an advantage, but training will be provided
