Bar Manager - Events Venue (Weddings & Private Events) Silchester, Hampshire ⏰ Full-time | 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7) £40,000 Profiles Personnel are recruiting a Bar Manager for the Silchester, a beautiful countryside events venue hosting weddings, private celebrations and corporate events for up to 150 guests. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the bar operation, manage stock and staff, and deliver excellent guest experiences across a varied events calendar. Please note: The job is in a rural location, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. Key Responsibilities Manage bar service across weddings and events Train and supervise bar staff (including coffee & cocktail service) Manage stock ordering, stock takes and cost control Maintain high service standards and guest engagement Drive upselling and bar profitability Ensure licensing, health & safety and hygiene compliance Maintain clean, organised bar and cellar areas Requirements Minimum 2 years hospitality experience Personal Licence holder - essential Full UK driving licence - essential (rural location) Strong leadership and organisational skills Passion for great service and events
