TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to support a major tunnelling and heavy civils package on a high-profile infrastructure project.
This role will be based on a complex tunnels and shafts environment, involving TBM works, SCL tunnels, and associated civils packages.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all Temporary Works activities on site
Ensure compliance with BS 5975, CDM 2015 and project procedures
Liaise with designers, checkers and site teams on design briefs and risk categorisation
Manage Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS) and site engineers
Review, approve and manage TW designs, checks and documentation
Issue Permits to Load / Proceed and oversee TW implementation & removal
Monitor inspections, maintenance and compliance throughout lifecycle
Provide technical briefings on design constraints, risks and methodology
Requirements:
Proven experience as a TWC on major civils / tunnelling projects
Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and Temporary Works procedures
Civil/Structural Engineering qualification (HNC/HND minimum)
TWCTC, SMSTS, CSCS
Experience in high-risk, complex construction environments
