A leading UK Microsoft Partner is looking for a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer to join their high-performing delivery team.

They’re now scaling their QA capability and are looking for an experienced automation engineer to help lead the charge.
The Role: Playwright Automation Engineer
This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable test automation for Web, Desktop, and Mobile platforms.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in both C# and TypeScript, with deep knowledge of SpecFlow, Cucumber, Playwright, and Selenium.
They’ll work closely with developers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality delivery across multiple projects, often in deadline-driven, agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement automated and manual test cases
* Develop test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium
* Write scalable test code in C# (SpecFlow) and TypeScript (Cucumber)
* Create behaviour-driven tests using Gherkin syntax
* Plan and execute testing across multiple delivery pipelines
* Embed test automation into CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps
* Proactively identify, isolate, and resolve defects
* Act as a Testing SME confidently engaging with clients and stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proficient in C# and TypeScript development
* Hands-on experience with SpecFlow, Cucumber, Selenium, and Playwright
* Comfortable using BDD and Gherkin syntax in a real-world setting
* Strong analytical and debugging skills
* Experience in both manual and automated testing
* Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
* Familiarity with Azure Test Plans, Azure DevOps, and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
