About the Department
The Pharmacy team works across acute and community hospital sites, general practices, mental health services and specialist teams, partnering closely with the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care throughout Fife.
Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate with excellent business support skills to join the Pharmacy & Medicines Directorate within the Business Support Team. The role involves developing and maintaining the high standard of support required to run a successful service.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with Medicines Supply & Quality, Clinical Services, Education and Training, Community Pharmacy, Governance & Prescribing departments.
* Provide business support across the Directorate, ensuring efficient processes and high service standards.
* Collaborate with a wide range of staff groups, supporting the Department’s operational needs.
* Assist with travel to different base locations across Fife as required.
Qualifications
* Educated to HNC level or equivalent experience.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Strong communication and team‑working skills.
* Flexibility to meet the demands of modern healthcare and a willingness to learn new technology.

* From 1/4/26, a full‑time Agenda for Change working week will change from 37 to 36 hours per week with a corresponding increase in hourly rate to maintain pay levels.
