This post plays a critical role in supporting the team and colleagues across the service, ensuring that the highest standard of consistently excellent practice and our core values, including coproduction, are embedded in Adult Social Care. You will support our Principal Social Worker to deliver on strategic priorities and transformation plans, providing a high level of quality assurance across Adult Social Care delivery, and deputising for the Principal Social Worker as required. You will lead on the delivery of service area professional development and the promotion of effective, forensic, and reflective practice in accordance with our practice framework, Values in Practice and the Professional Capabilities Framework, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will lead and deliver a robust internal audit process to fulfil national expectations around continuous improvement of excellent practitioners in line with the CQC assurance framework and the PSW’s statutory roles and responsibilities. The role also includes leading the APL team to enable the Careers Academy approach across Adult Social Care, including Practice Education, student placements, the ASYE programmes and Apprenticeships.
