About The Role
This is a part-time position, offering a 22-hour weekly contract.
As anActivities Co-ordinatorat HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. Our care homes provide Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care, where every Resident has a unique story. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.
Your role will involve planning and implementing engaging activities that delight our Residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events. Whether encouraging Residents to socialise, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your approach will be rooted in kindness.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with a background in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, and strong planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should manage your time effectively and communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. Attendance at safeguarding training and ongoing professional development are required.
