Join to apply for the Casual Caretaker role at Falmouth Exeter Plus. Falmouth Exeter Plus are seeking to recruit Casual Caretakers to provide a high quality caretaking service on our Falmouth and Penryn campuses. The caretaking department is responsible for a variety of duties to ensure that the campus buildings and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard. These duties include waste and recycling management, porterage duties and daily cleaning tasks. The successful applicants will ensure that the allocated duties are completed within deadlines and to an expected standard in line with service and Health and Safety requirements. It is a varied role across both campuses and represents a great opportunity to join a close knit team.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in dealing with waste management and general porter/caretaking duties, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. Alongside these key skills we are looking for candidates who have a flexible approach to working hours and a good level of general fitness.

Responsibilities
* Provide high quality caretaking service on Falmouth and Penryn campuses, including waste and recycling management, porterage duties and daily cleaning tasks.
* Complete allocated duties within deadlines and to the required standard in line with service and Health and Safety requirements.
* Operate across both campuses and work as part of a close knit team.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in waste management and general porter/caretaking duties.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Flexible approach to working hours and a good level of general fitness.
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and regulations (e.g., COSHH).
* Ability to prioritise work towards deadlines and work on own initiative or as part of a team.
* Full clean driving licence (required to drive a company vehicle to fulfil duties).
