Leading Investment Bank - Application Support Analyst – Global Markets Technology
Join a front‑office aligned team supporting mission‑critical trading, risk, and lifecycle applications across the Equity Linked business. You’ll work directly with traders and global technology teams to ensure stability, performance, and smooth daily operations across key systems.
What you’ll do
* Own incidents, problem & change processes; drive system stability and automation
* Manage releases, deployments, capacity reviews and BCP readiness
* Partner with development and integration teams on application onboarding and continuous improvement
* Mentor offshore teams and coordinate handovers for out‑of‑hours support
What we’re looking for
* Front‑office application support experience in a fast‑paced markets environment
* Strong hands‑on experience with Unix/Linux
* Solid database skills (Oracle or SQL Server)
* Scripting knowledge (Shell, Bash, Python beneficial)
* Experience supporting or operating batch systems (Autosys/Control‑M or similar)
* Effective communicator, calm under pressure, strong incident‑management skills
Nice to Have
* Experience with Splunk or similar log/monitoring tools
* Background in Prime Brokerage or Global Markets
* Familiarity with Dynatrace or other APM/Observability tools
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation
