KS2 TEACHER
Claremont Fan Court School is seeking a well‑qualified and committed KS2 Teacher to join our junior school from September 2026. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and able to deliver high‑quality teaching, nurture pupils, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join our thriving junior school. A particular strength in English and maths would be advantageous. You will:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support strong pupil progress
2. Integrate curricular concepts in an engaging and meaningful way
3. Create a purposeful and supportive learning environment
4. Teach pupils of varying abilities and use assessment effectively
5. Act as a form tutor and contribute to pupils’ pastoral development
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Junior School
7. Participate in co‑curricular activities, trips and whole‑school events

8. Hold a relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
9. Have strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
10. Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and high expectations
11. Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues and parents
12. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
13. Be committed to delivering high‑quality pastoral care
