We are currently looking for a sales consultant to join our fast paced and ever evolving business in our Scarborough store.
Matheson Communications Limited is a telecommunications franchise and holds five Vodafone stores in York, Scarborough, Bridlington, Middlesbrough and Redcar.

What are we looking for?
Working in a fast paced environment with new product launches, ever changing promotions and advances in technology we need someone with an eye for detail who is adaptable and can work under pressure.
A passion for people and sales is a must as you'll need the trust and buy in of your all important customers and be able to work as part of a sales team.
Working in a sales environment means a culture of support and coaching is key to deliver results and a desire to keep reaching for that next goal
You'll need:

Responsibilities
As a sales consultant you will be responsible for:
* making and increasing sales and ensuring efficiency
* following the sales process end to end to ensure consistency and compliance
* delivering world class customer service
* delivering on your sales targets and KPI's each month
* independent learning
* analysing your own sales figures
* maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing
Experience
* Experience of working in sales is a not required but preferred
* Retail experience is not necessary as we are not traditional retail and follow a structured sales process
* Experience of working in a regulated sales environment is preferred but not essential
Working Hours
* Our opening hours are Mon- Sat 9am - 5.30pm and Sundays 10:00am-4:00pm
* Your shift patterns will be across 5 days per week working the store opening times above to fulfil your 30 hour contract
* Weekend working is crucial due to us being on the high street
* We are open on all bank holidays apart from Christmas Day, Easter Sunday and New Years Day
* As a sales consultant flexibility is required for overtime, covering illness etc
Salary and Benefits
* The pro rata salary for this role is £19656 based on a 30 hour contract (£12.60 per hour, £17.56 OTE) per year with expected earnings between £19,656 - £28,720
